Elisabeth started Ateljé Cobb in 1986. The projects varied over the years... painting, creating large murals, faux-finishing techniques on furniture, kurbitz, and traditional gold-leaf gilding. Elisabeth's paintings are mostly of Swedish birds and flowers.
She's had many exhibitions, several at CM Bellman Gallery in Stockholm; and at her house at her studio in Sweden. She's said that looking back when she was awarded a stipend, the 1994 Kulturpris (Ingeborg och Folke Löfs minnesfond), in Ödeshög, the town in Sweden where her mother's family is from, is one of her favorite moments as an artist. Another is when she in year 2000 had the honor to paint 3 huge pieces, a permanent installation sponsored by IKEA, for the main entrance hall at the Swedish Club - a Swedish Cultural Center, in Seattle, USA.
She studied under Georg Suttner and Claes Jurnader at Gerlesborg in Sweden and also learned traditional italian mural techniques "Stucco Lustro" and "Al Fresco" from Luigi Ingani.
